I GET IT!
I actually read a story.....and knew everything i needed to know about it so that it made sense! I read actual tales....it was amazing....
I really really enjoyed Ford's stuff so much more than Link's work. I guess I just don't have a head for her writings. Ford's style was so normal...I'm very happy....
P.S. Boatmans Holiday....I feel a paper brewing somewhere involving that story....I claim dibs....

I think I need "normal" too. Or at least as normal as you can get with fantasy! Basically, I think I just need some closure. I don't want to be left hanging, and I was very happy that Ford did not leave me hanging.
On this same topic, Link was not a bad writer. Her stuff was so deep like some abstract piece of art that it took time and concentration to see her point. You almost have to read Link twice to pick up on the deeper meaning of her stories. With Ford though you can read his stories casually and come away with an "I wonder" or "what if" idea.
Oh, I wasn't implying that Link was a bad writer, or at least I wasn't trying to. I didn't necessarily dislike her stories, but there was really only one that I can honestly say I liked.
