Um...
Since I seem to be posting everything that comes into my head today, I just want to say that I totally called it with Nosferatu and the "Circumcising Dracula" article! Which was highly interesting, as well as depressing, and I would recommend finding the time to read it if you haven't already. I also want to say that I own the 1930's Dracula starring Bela Lugosi and would happily host a vampire-movie night just to watch it. It's probably the best vampire movie ever. I mean, what Count Dracula castle is complete without two scary armadillos?

Ditto Jessie that Tod Browning's Dracula, starring Bela Lugosi (1931), is well worth seeing, as is the Spanish-language version, shot simultaneously with a different cast and director. (The "Legacy Collection" DVD of Browning's Dracula includes the Spanish-language version, as well as the Lugosi-less sequels Dracula's Daughter, Son of Dracula and House of Dracula.) In many ways the Spanish-language Dracula is more visually interesting throughout, but it sorely lacks Lugosi and Dwight Frye, who played Renfield; both are mesmerizing.
Tod Browning's best movie is Freaks (1932), though that would be harder to shoehorn into a fantasy class.
